When?
(Preview)
How soon is too soon to say, "I love you?" 1 week? 3 weeks? 3 months? 2 years? 2 hours?
When can you say it, and MEAN that you want to spend your life with this person? When do you committ? I just don't know if this is the right person--but, how do I tell? There are many, many things I want to get done in my lif...

How does God get your attention?

Gnawing at me
(Preview)
So, here I am again, not having a clue what God is, or where He?? is, or what He?? is doing with the world.
I keep having thoughts that are so far beyond the realm of possibility because my Christian upbringing is making me immediately counteract my thoughts with self-loathing, or comments like, "T...

666
(Preview)
Why does 666 scare us so much? If you read the passage in revelation, it just says that's the "number of the beast" and if you're discerning you can understand that it's the name of a person.
But nowadays we treat 666 with ridiculous superstition. What power does that number actually wield- if any?...

Does Phelps have a right to be WRONG?
(Preview)
I just voted in a poll (and came out to the whole dang COUNTRY, by the way!) at www.advocate.com about this issue.
A part of me wants to say "NO!" to this guy. I want to slap him and say that he doesn't even have a right to BREATHE, much less protest a funeral of a fallen soldier and say that awful hate...

Most common misconceptions about Jesus Christ's birth?

I'm just sharing some interesting information, that's all. I'm not saying it's true or false; I leave that to you to decide. I just enjoy reading, researching and debating every aspect of the bible and things outside the bible. Even though I believe the bible is a source or truth,...

How old is the earth?
(Preview)
The following timeline by Theodore Pederson appeared in The Christian News, March 26, 2001, page 18.
How old is the earth? If we go back 500 years, we come to the time of Martin Luther (born in 1483), and Columbus, who “sailed the ocean blue in 1492.”
If we go back 1000 years, we come to the time of...

The reason why I don't go to church, is because I don't believe in organized religion...in any way, shape or form. In fact, I'm strongly against it. I believe it is a way Satan is using Christianity to break up the Body of Christ.
