I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and tell a little about me. My name is Patrick Potts and I am currently a Priest in the American Catholic Church, Province of America; I serve as the Vicar-General for the Diocese of Dallas in Episcopal District 4. I have been a priest since 2004 and before then served as a deacon since 2001. I am in a committed relationship and we are having a Religious Ceremony on March 17 to finalize our "Marriage". I look forward to getting to know each of you a lot better in the near future. Tell me about your ceremony you are having. My son & his partner (Letthead & Krazy K on here) have exchanged rings, and I read some prayers that Rev. Mike (member) sent me and we toasted with champagne. But I think they would like to have a real ceremony. Their best friends, Lindsey & Meghan (also members here) are having a wedding in August. I think that is so cool, but know that legally it makes no difference in the state of Texas. They are still denied the rights that straight married couples enjoy.
By the way, none of those people I mentioned before post here much, if at all. We need to work on that!!
