The Ultimate Irony

Couldn't fix my own website and got accused by a programmer of having no concept of "understanding programming" online on a message board

And yet I just signed an offer letter for my new job that I start in 2 weeks that pays double of what I am making now

Congratulations on your new job!  That is awesome!!

Tell me, are all programmers as tactless as that one?  You've said before that people say really ugly things to you when you ask a programming question.  That's just downright rude!

It appears so, though ironically the majority of the programmers that helped me with this big TCL problem were, though not very socially adept, nice enough not to slam me (except for that one).  It's well-known that programmers, as a rule, are not as skilled in social graces and have very short patience levels, which is why they created the acronym RTFM (Read the @&@#^# Manual) as a stock answer to people usually labeled as "clueless", "n00b" or "unskilled".
