It's beyond me, too. So is something I saw on the news yesterday. These people had gotten in line about 3:00 Thanksgiving afternoon to be the first ones inside on Friday morning. I think it was at a Best Buy. There was line cutting and fighting and the police had to be called. What? Were they giving away good health & a long life? I don't think so. NOTHING is worth my time like that.

You should have seen my Wal-Mart when the Nintendo Wii console first came out! I was the ONLY cart-pusher that night. We ran out of carts! At BOTH ends of the store! TWICE!
And in the middle of the store...was the STRANGEST bunch of people, sitting in deck chairs, playing cards and reading comic books. They were waiting for the Wii to come out, while shoppers from all over the state were running around, grabbing stuff and getting ready for the holidays!
I absolutely LOVE video games...but I draw the line at sitting in a lawn chair for HOURS, in between a 300 pound teenager reading his Batman "Hush" comic books, and a pimpled-face nerd, casting "spells" while playing Magic, the Gathering!
And neither ONE of them is going to have a restroom break!
