Ok lets think about this logically..... 1. Who would buy $100-200 of crystal meth, and throw it away? If one were to try it, wouldn't one just buy a small portion like under $100 worth to experiment with? 2. Crystal Meth is supposed to make sex wild... Crystal Meth is used by many gay men for sex. 3. Just a massage..... pleeeeezeeeeee! 4. Identify your self as "ART from Kansas City"... when calling the escort.....that's novel 5. Ask your escort to buy you crystal... why do that unless you were going to have sex with him. 6. Your caller ID gives you away (or at least your location)
He's probably closet gay, and is so afraid and in denial of coming out of the closet given his posiiton in the church.
Couldn't have happened to a better guy especially just before election. Anymore, I don't have much respect for these TV high profile ministers, who want to live a lie for the sake of their mega churches, families, and "image"
Mama's been sleeping again. Either that or vacationing on the moon.
Rev. Ted Haggard was the president of the National Association of Evangelicals as well as the former pastor of a mega-church in the mid-west.
This unfortunate gentleman was outed by the male prostitute that he has allegedly been having a 3 year affair with. Rev Haggard has admitted to "sexually immoral activities" which he states that he has " battled all of his adult life."
Ted was supposed to receive assistance with dealing with his "situation" from the great James Dobson, but just yesterday, the kind Dr informed the world that he didn't have the time to assist the hurting ex-pastor after all.
Anyway, I identify greatly with Ted. I know the shame and embarrassment that he is feeling at this time. I only hope for his sake that he comes to grips with who he is and finds the joy in accepting himself.

It wasn't on our local news. I think Teddy may have mentioned it once because he listens to talk radio, but I never heard it myself. Sounds like it just would have made me mad!

Yes, Lisa, it would of upset you real good. It was on TV plenty but I have the feeling you were so busy trying to take care of me and family, you missed it.
Why do so many of these "high and mighty ( so they think of themselves) preachers" go so wrong. They must believe they are above being found out.. Goes to show - "don't look on the man , keep your eyes on God."
This is just another example af being held to a higher standard. He is just a man and in being so he is subject to fall like the rest of us. Because of his high profile it gives an opportunity to those with their own aggenda to pounce on the story and use him as an example.
