Oh my God, I used to watch the original Degrassi in the late 80's, Degrassi Jr. High!!! Is that the one you are refering to or Degrassi The Next Generation? Never saw Degrassi Next Generation. I only remember seeing the original. Some of those episodes were intense. That is, at the time I saw them which was the late 80's.

I remember in the original episodes some of the teens dealt with bulimia, molestation, and the school burning down and what made the episodes really good is that most of these problems never got resolved like in most family shows today where the character finds help and lives happily ever after. At the time it was a ground breaking series so keep in mind it was a 1987-1989 show and this stuff was aimed at preteens so it was different and new back then.

I read that some of the original cast members from Degrassi Jr High have made cameos in Degrassi The Next Generation, but as parents of the new generation. That's a cool, especially after so many years between the shows that they were able to get some of the original cast members to come back and play parents on the show.

on Nogin (342 for us) and not sure.. the ones i watch are from 11pm-1am... i think there are some earlier ones like when i get home from work, so not sure what time. and every day
I was flipping channels and caught a scene from Degrassi, the new one and saw that one of the original characters from the 80's was in the scene. I forget his name, but he's the shaved head guy....what's his name? Jeremiah? I have to say, he looks cute with his shaved head. I think he plays a parent or something.
