Why ARE we playing to have so many posts?


This is only showing how WAY too much free time we have?


(BTW...where are my Star Trek underoos at? I need them for my sleep-over in line at the movie theater to buy the first movie tickets to the next Star Trek movie in 2008)

Nope. You, sweetie, are an "otter." Although I can't really claim to be a "bear" either, since I don't have facial hair and have such a baby face (awwwww) Guess I'm a "cub"... good grief, this is so complicated.

Is anyone else a little bit irritated that this thread has turned into a dump for people to just post thousands of "almost there/I'm gonna win" messages? I know I contributed to this when Tim and I had our little spat, but somehow having 200,000 posts has no meaning if all of the posts say

"this is post # 187,462 !!! I'm almost there!!!"

Plus it destroys any and all conversations that may have been going on in the thread. I know it's tough to find things to post about, but if you've run out of things to say in any other thread, and your only reason for posting is just to get more posts, please consider taking a BREAK!

Chris, I agree.


If I knew that things would get this out of hand, I never would have chartered the 1000 post club to begin with.  This is supposed to be a high minded club where the members get to sit around and drink fancy drinks and celebrate their good fortune.


So, as the current president of this club, you can feel free to adjust the bi-laws to bring order to the club once more.

Hmm... so the queen has been requested to come up with a "magna carta" of sorts... Well I'll do what I can, but I don't know how much I can do-- like any self-respecting Queen, my "reign" is in name only, and someone else gets to do the real work. So I'm just a figurehead. We'll have to get the real Prime Minister Mamalady to get in on the fun if we really want anything done.

In the meantime, let them eat cake (and drink martinis).

Chris & Tim, I'm so glad you two recognize who holds the true POWER around here!  Now bow before me.  That's better.


Just a couple of reminders:


First, this is a thread within the Fun & Games section.  That means, sillyness is required.


Second, I never want to discourage anyone from having whatever kind of discussions they want or need to have.  If a serious topic emerges within a fun thread, please feel free to start a new thread in the appropriate forum.  Or if you want me to move a thread, just say the word.  You know I'm here to take care of you guys!!
