I was baptized when I was a baby but then I was rebaptized again when I was 16 years old. It was then I was born again. Sure, I wondered off the path after that for a while, but I've found my way back. And besides I didn't count my baby baptizism because I didn't accept Christ then. I mean I was only a baby, how could I understand such things? That's why I was rebaptized at 16, because I had discovered the Word of God and accepted Jesus. Anyway, I was just wondering what age you were baptized?

Same story for me, Steve. I was baptized as a baby, then, as a teenager, joined a Pentecostal church with my friend, Carla and was baptized again. That time was a dunking!! But the Methodist believe that you never need to be rebaptized because that would indicate that we didn't believe in the first one, or something. I'm sure someone can explain that better than me! But we do occasionally read the baptism covenant as a way to remember our baptism.

I was baptized into the LDS church when I was 10. Usually they do it at a younger age. I believe it is when you are 8. They distinguish that age as a time when you can tell right from wrong, and that is when you are willing to accept Jesus, and the truth the church has to offer.
However, when I was 12, I stopped going to the church due to lack of belief. I didn't understand any of it. So for the next 9.5 years I was an Atheist. Ya...I didn't believe in God at all. I hated God, and everything He had to offer.
Anyway, I became rebaptized when I was 21 into the Baptist denomination. In December of 2004! That was my Christmas present from the church...seriously. :) My pastor called me and said he wanted to give me my gift a couple of days early during the service. I went to Sunday service, and he said, "We have a baptism to attend to..." :) It was awesome.

I was baptized the first Sunday after Easter in 1998. I went forward on Palm Sunday, my family went forward on Easter, and so we all got baptized into the Baptist church the next Sunday. I was 27.
I got baptized at 7 years old in the Southern Baptist church. But I really didn't decide it for myself. I got confirmed at 26 into the Anglican church. THAT I decided for myself. Yeay

I was baptised at the age of 18, after 12 years of acknowledging Christ as my savior. I waited until I felt that the time was right for me. It was very memerable for me. My family seems to be late baptisies. My grandmother didn't get baptised until she was in her fifties, after 30+ years of being a Christian and my father was baptised in his 40's after 20+ years of Chritianity.
