Um, no. Let me rephrase. How much time was there between Jesus's resurrection and the church offically putting into practice/belief that Jesus was indeed the Son of God.
Is that better phrased?

Well, the longest it could have taken would be 30 years-- when Paul's letters were written. But Paul talks of Jesus being the Son of God as though it were common knowledge, so I'm guessing it happened much sooner, or even that it has always been an important part of Christian belief, right from the start.
But this is just my own guess, based on what we know of the time certain scriptures were written. I can't back this up with any non-Biblical evidence.

Thanks Jeffrey,
I was just saying the other day, joking of course, that we celebrated Easter on the wrong day. If Christ was cucified on Friday, them Monday would be the third day. I did not know that they considered 12 hours to be a day. That makes sense to me now.
I thought it was because they count evening as the start of the day. So Jesus died Friday morning and was buried (day one). Friday evening began the sabbath (day two). Saturday evening was the end of the sabbath (day three). Jesus rose on the day after the sabbath, Sunday, in the morning (day three).
