I remember the first time I saw the "story that grows." I thought it would be different than it is, because it reminded me of ANOTHER story game I played long ago.

So I thought I'd start a different kind of story game- it takes a little more thought than the other version, but it's worth a try.

Rules:
I begin writing a story, taking note of the time (or even setting a timer if I were a hard-ass about rules). When it's been ONE MINUTE, I have to immediately stop typing (even mid-word!!!) and submit the post. The next person continues in the same manner. Continue the story for only ONE MINUTE and STOP immediately when the minute is over.

(edit: when someone stops mid-word, the next person must finish the word even if it's not what the first author intended--oh and by the way, avoid unnecessary editting. It screws things up)

Here goes, let's begin.
