Does anyone else watch the TV show "House"? Where we are, it comes on after American Idol. "House" is quickly becoming my favorite show! It is so funny & smartass, plus a very good medical show. I love it!

I love "House". LOVE IT! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT! But I rarely watch it. I actually don't even know when it's on. I do that on purpose to myself. So I don't get tied down watching stuff

I've never watched an episode, but the previews are always entertaining to watch. I try not to watch anything from the FOX network because they tend to cancel anything that is actually good!

I like the show, but I can't stand the doctor! He is too much like the doctors that were over my dad before he died: so cocky and arrogant that you just wanted to smash their faces in!
It is good TV! But it's on the same time as Dog, The Bounty Hunter.
Why is it that all of the good shows are on at the same time?
Isn't Family Guy on Fox? That alone makes the channel worthwhile.
I saw my first (partial) episode of House the other day, and I was kind of left with the same feeling as Jeffrey. He seemed like an arrogant jerk the whole time, and what's worse, the show seemed like it was written and filmed as if to say "This guy is despicable; don'tcha LOVE him?"
But I've only seen the one episode, so I couldn't tell you but from that one experience.

Actually, Chris, that was my feeling about the show before I sat down & watched it. It's a typical medical show, in that they are presented with some strange case, and by the end of the show, House usually figures it out. (Unlike real life where a friend of ours has been having mini seizures and black outs for several years. After MANY tests and different doctors, they have determined he has mercury poisoning from his fillings!!!) But in spite of House's jerkiness, you do end up liking him. Give it another shot.

To be honest, I saw a glimmer of something I liked, but I was kind of annoyed at myself for "falling for it." Maybe you're right. I think Tony Soprano is an awful guy too, but that show holds my interest as well...

When you think of House's character in terms of human-ness and realize that he's behaving like that to cover up personal issues that he has it makes him a lot more relatable.
