I just told my mom that my boyfriend & I would be in town this weekend and asked if she wanted to do dinner. (This was to prep her for bringing him to the family reunion.) She was amazing, she accepted without hesitating. (I'm a little nervous about how easily she accepted... but I'm going to trust her.)
Mom also told me that my grandmother Dorothy isn't doing well. She broke her knee. She also had a large portion of her stomach removed years ago. And her blood pressure is really high. She's almost 80 years old. Mom doesn't think she is going to be around much longer. Please keep her in your prayers.

Perfect love casts out fear. God is love. Anything else is a lie.
Be with Dorothy in her time of need. Bless her with healing for her knee, as well as helping her with her other health problems. Give her heart the peace and hope that comes from knowing that You are always there for her, taking care of her every need. Let her feel strength to get through each trying day. You are a most wonderful God! For in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
I'm praying for your grandmother. And for your mom. Hopefully, as she meets your boyfriend, her heart will continue to be open, and this will be a new beginning for you all.
