Family adjustments

Hey, yall

I just need you all to pray with me for my ex and my kids.  They are having some difficulty in dealing with my being gay, my leaving, and my new relationship.

My ex has expressed that she is having a "crisis of faith" and that she doesn't know what to think about God right now.  She states that she is in the "twilight xone" right now and that my actions are to blame.

And I have been informed that I am to blame for my 13 year old questioning the existance of God and if there is a God, questioning God's love, all because I have gone out on my own to be a whole person.

My 8 year old is doing alright, and is coming to grips with me in his terms.

I am really down right mow, knowing that I have caused such turmoil and grief to people that I care about.

Please pray with me.

Thanks,

Tim

Hi Tim,

I'll be praying for your family.  I'm sure this has been hard on your ex, but I think, with time, she'll at least make peace with it.  And, hopefully, she'll rediscover her faith and find that it has grown and strengthened.

I remember a time when Alan decided he didn't believe in God.  It probably had something to do with his struggle at the time, but that was way before he came out.  Your 13 year old is just testing the waters and trying to find his/her own faith.  Trust them all to God's hands.

Prayerfully,

Lisa

Dearest Tim; I will keep you and your family in my prsyers hun. I pray that our precious Lord Jesus will overshadow your family with love, peace and mercy in this troublesome time. I pray that his everlasting arms of strength will keep them within his will and keep them from making wrong decisions or saying the wrong things in this time of confusion and frustration. May our precious Lord watch over every aspect of this transition period and guide each and every member for his glory. May God bless you and your family dear. Love, Samantha.

Dear Lord,

Help Tim's family come to accept who and what their father is. Help them to see that though they can't see You, that You are there for them and will bring them through this hard time in their lives. In scripture, Your arrival to the faithful was always surrounded with "dark clouds". Show them that this is just another trial in life that God will use to build them up even stronger than they were before. Give them the peace of mind that they need to get through this. Bless this whole family, Lord. For in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Hello Tim,

Our families are so important to us, I can even begin to understand your concerns for your kids (I not having any).  I will be sure to pray for you and your family.  We have to trust in god and his timing.

Fortify Tim with the grace of Your Holy Spirit and give Your peace to his soul that he may be free from all needless anxiety, solicitude and worry.  Help Tim and his family to desire always that which is pleasing and acceptable to You so that Your will may be my will and we pray Lord that you guide them through this difficult time.  Amen.

I want to thank you for all of your prayers.  Things are already getting better.  My ex and son are coming to terms with God and my homosexuality.  It will take more time, but I believe that God will bring all to good in the end.

Again, Thanks

Tim
