RE: The Questions Never End...

I hate to play "Debbie Downer" but I would probably spend my last day in prayer, attending services at my church. I can't really say why- I don't think it really would have an impact on my salvation, I would just want it to be a day of peace.

If you could have either the ability to travel unaided through outer space, or to breathe underwater, which would you choose?

To breathe underwater, the ocean life has always been a love of mine.

What would you choose to do if you were given $10,000 to do anything in the world for 1 day?

...Hmm... probably go on a shopping spree... take a bunch of friends out for Sushi and drinks... and buy a really awesome set of rings for my future marriage (whenever that is)

Hmm... that started me thinking-

What's your dream wedding ring made of / look like? Describe it.
(no fair if you're already married. Or if you are, don't just describe the one you have)

If you were a flower, which one would you be?

I would be a rose.  Beautiful, fragrant, hardy, but with thorns to keep the pests away!!

(Beautiful ring, by the way!)

If you could be an animal for a day, what would you be & why?

I would be a turtle because they are care free, slow moving animals that are in no hurry to get anywhere and turtles or rather tortoises represents wisdom.

I'd be a bird-- I don't really care what kind. I want to fly on my own and know what that's like.

If you could protect your children (real or imagined) from any one experience you've had in your life, what would it be?

Being rejected.

What is the one little tidbit your mother taught you that will stay with you forever?

be careful how you do push-ups because they can look a lot like pelvic thrusts.

If you could erase any one injury you've suffered in your life and erase the memory of it, what would it be?

The time I was ice-skating, and I was practicing a jump...anyway, I landed wrong, and the skate embedded itself into my hand, and there was blood all over the ice...and they had to close down the rink for a couple of hours to get it cleaned up...it was horrible!!!

Where were you born?

Would you rather take a boat ride over a tropical coral reef, or take a sleigh ride through a beautiful wintry woodland?

Take a boat ride over a tropical reef.  I hate the cold.

What is your dream job?

oo Jeffrey's answer sounds really fun!

but mine is to be a professor of clarinet, and have a job in an orchestra- perhaps with a solo career.

If you had the opportunity to go back in time and tell yourself as a child ONE piece of advice, what would it be?

Waking up during a summer rainstorm, and having (insert name here) take me out for a walk around town at 3am.
Then when things start to open, I'd love to go to a local deli, and grab dessert, then walk back home, arm in arm.
Then to snuggle by the fireplace... *sighs*

But, I have to be realistic, huh?
A perfect day is where I hit all green lights, and get enough sleep, and not having to worry about finances.

But, I have to be realistic, huh? =)

Ummm...What was the last thing to make you smile today?

What is your FAVORITE episode of your FAVORITE sit-com?

I don't have a favorite sitcom, but here are some of my favorites:

"The Vicar of Dibley"
There's an episode in which they have a special service for the animals of the village. That's a really good one.

"Are You Being Served?"
An episode where the staff of Grace Brothers have to become actors for a commercial for the store- hilarious!

"Keeping Up Appearances"
The one about the "riparian entertainments" is an old favorite of mine.

"Family Guy"
The one with Stewie's "SEXY PARTIES!!!"

Hmm... not feeling original today: SAME QUESTION!

One of my fave sitcoms is "WKRP in Cincinnati" and the one that I will always hold close to my heart is the Thanksgiving turkey episode where Mr. Carlson and Herb threw live turkeys from out of the station helicopter, sending them crashing into a crowd of people below, with live reporting by Les Nessman, reminiscent of the Hindenburg disaster! At the end of the show, a feather-covered Carlson turns to the others gathered in the station's reception area and says one of the most brilliant lines in TV history:

"As God as my witness...I thought turkeys could FLY!"

Which soap opera character did you HATE more: JR of "Dallas" or Alexis of "Dynasty"?

Florence from "The Jeffersons"!

I just LOVED the way that she would come back with those verbal "comebacks" that would leave George in a HUFF!

If you could CREATE a comic book superhero, what would he/she/it be like?

Hmm... It'd be something/someone completely unassuming and humble, to start with. Whoever he/she was, they'd be completely average in appearance. None of this phony "perfect body" crap. Hmm... they'd probably have a lot of turmoil in their daily lives- dealilng with oppression and social justice. Then for the bigger issues and difficulties, they'd use their super power(s). I guess... their super power would have to be something impressive, something nobody would expect from Mr/Ms Average. Perhaps unusual healing abilities, aquakinesis, flight, something cool like that.

After all that, it reads like a really lame answer. Hmm I'll use up the last of my "lame points" and allow the question to pass to the next responder.

Wasn't that where Hyacinth was in the canoe at the end?? And, the machine that pulls up the dirt, dumped all the water on her?? I laughed until I was crying...

I could just picture her, saying a picnic, with Riparrrrrrrriaaaaaaaaan entertainments! My mom loved that show. :)

A superbook hero...

I would create a duckbilled platypus, with a rubber toilet seat for a helmet, and a plunger for a weapon.
His mode of transportation would be an oversized antique bathtub with claw feet...and when somebody is in danger--a spotlight would go up in the air--and what would we see????
If it was a man that needed the help, there would be a man-symbol in the air--the kind that are on the front of bathroom doors--if it was a female, a girl symbol.

He'd be named...umm...Dmitri...cuz that's just a cool name!

Whenever he encounters an enemy, an alarm would go off, and it would sound like a toilet flushing...! Yeah!

QUESTION: What did you do today? Did you have a good day?
