OMG! What a day! Today was the Butterfly Luncheon, which was a fund raiser for Houston Hospice's Butterfly Project. It's a non profit organization that offers hospice care to children. Everything about the luncheon was wonderful and I was so blessed to be invited by a friend to go. (I couldn't afford the $125 ticket!!) Paul Young (the author of The Shack) was the guest speaker and he was as awesome as I expected him to be. At the end of his time, he asked if anyone had any questions. I had planned one I wanted to ask if I got the chance, but I chickened out. Then when he was done, I made a bee line to the ladies room (way too much lemonade!) and walked right past him! I had my copy of the book in my purse, which was in my hand, but again I chickened out. I wanted to get an autograph. I wanted to hug him! I wanted to tell him how much the book means to me, but I missed my chance!! Been kicking myself all day!!
