Good morning, all!  We had a good day yesterday.  Gethsemane UMC (where we go to church) and St. Luke's UMC (where I work) came together at Gethsemane for a work day.  And, in spite of the rain, we got a lot accomplished.  I worked in the music library with the choir director & a few other people that drifted in & out.  Teddy did some electrical work & replaced all the fixtures in the main hallway.  Other people painted and cleaned and moved stuff.  Some people even worked outside until the weather got so bad they had to come in.  It was a great day.

When we got home, our street was completely full of water.  I parked my car at the corner store & we drove home in Teddy's huge truck.  Fortunately, water did not get in the house, like it did yesterday!!  Ah, the joys of living in Houston!
