Morning all!  Slept well - no Stupid Dog barking!  Yea!!

I don't think I'll be too productive today.  Staff Chapel at 10:00, followed by th January birthdays celebration, followed by lunch with Alan & Leo.  Yesterday I stayed until 3:00 and I was really tired and a little sore after that.  Not sure how long I'll stay today.  Gotta keep remembering "baby steps"!

It got very cold here last night.  What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?  I'd love to hear from some of you members that don't post!  Jump in here & make yourself comfortable!!  Give us a chance to get to know you!

Papabear what date? Looks right to me. I'm up be would rather not be. Hope the ice all stays north of us.. Don't envy you having to get out in this cold. A cyber friend up in Wisconsin said it was really snowing and cold up there. Hope everybody checks in so we know all is well.

We are having it ROUGH up here in Kentucky!!!

Both my brother and sister's places have no electric nor heat. Sis is going to try to get over here with Rebecca so she can warm up for a while. They have had no electricity since yesterday afternoon and are running out of kerosene. They're going to TRY to get some more. Mom and me had no electric for about an hour this morning. We're on again, but no idea for how long. Governor has declared a state of emergency. Not sure if I'll be able to make it to work. I'm going to go to store to get more batteries and check up on some friends.

Please pray. pray.gif

Yellow people,

Victor was at work before 9am WHAT? WHAT? lol well only because I feel a bit guilty. I threw my back out, not one single event I could feel it coming every night getting worse and worse. Any way last weekend I was in bed and the last 2 days I have had short days at work. I have to get a sonogram, I have had kidney problems before so my doctor wants to make sure I dont have any stones :( I think the pain is different from when I had some stones so I hope it will go away soon. The pain killers are working but I am not, I sleep alot. I hope you all have a great day!

UPDATE:

The police is shutting down the city. No gas for anyone except emergency vehicles. Not able to get anyone at work to answer the phone: store must be shut down. Lights are flickering. County authorities are telling us to boil water before drinking and cooking. Pray that my sister and her family are able to make it here, or to somewhere else that's warm.
