Hey all.  I'm alive.  Still can't move without a lot of pain, but Vicodin helps!  I slept last night - nothing like your own bed!  I didn't sleep AT ALL in the hospital once I got back to my room.  They had these things on my legs to prevent blood clots.  They inflated like a blood pressure cuff every few seconds.  At first, it was wonderful.  After 20 hours, it was pure torture!  Every time I'd get close to drifting off, one of them would inflate and wake me back up.  It made for a VERY long night!!

Thanks for all your prayers.  Keep 'em coming!  I've got a way to go before I'm back to normal.  Whatever that means.

Good to see you back Lisa. I sure know what you mean about sleep in hospital beds. With me it was the blood pressure cuff that they had on me. Every 15 minutes it would inflate. Not a fun place. Rest and get well.
