Well, I've found out that I'm diabetic. (It stinks, because food is my friend! Well, I mean...junk food!) Now, I have to make friends with fruits and vegetables. It's actually not that hard. However, they are having me count my carbs--and I'm trying to gain back a lot of the weight I lost at the same time...so...things are a tiny bit tough for me right now.
They put me on insulin. I give myself at least 4 injections a day. And, they told me I can't really eat in the middle of the night--but, I was starving...so, I made myself a chicken caesar salad. :(
I can't follow the rules all the time! =)
This week has been rough for me. I drove myself to the ER because I had strep @ the same time I found out I was diabetic. (Just a couple of days ago.) I couldn't keep anything down...and went into a diabetic type shock, as well. My blood sugar was extremely high, and I wasn't too coherent at the time--so, they put me in the hospital for two days. I'm doing better!
School is nearing the end of the semester. I only have like two or three weeks left. I pray I pass all my classes. I'm in the middle of doing an essay for my English class, when I'm supposed to be sleeping, and eating to keep myself awake--which I'm not supposed to be doing, either. :(
Bleh! English!
There's my last week in a nutshell!
So, all in all.....
1. Pray for me to gain weight! 2. Pray for me to pass school! 3. Pray I don't lose my job, my house, my teeth, my sight, my sanity.. lol.
Hope everything is well over here.
God bless you all..
Darrel

Dear Heavenly Father, Please take care of Darrel's problems with health, school and work. Give him the help that he needs to take care of his diabetes. My mom is diabetic, so I know how hard it is having to change your diet. Let him find good food that he'll like. Thank you for bringing him back here, cause I've really missed him and was concerned about him. Give him the strength to take care of both his school work and his job. Bless him with great blessings this year, and in the future. For in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
