I've decided that I must not be all that conservative any more. I've always considered myself as conservative, but I saw something today while waiting in the doctor's office that convinced me I really don't want that title!
Sitting on a table in the waiting room was some "Conservative Christian" voter's guide publication. I found the section that listed the issues & how the candidates feel about them. What really made the hair on the back of my neck stand up was this:
Homosexual (Counterfeit) Marriage...
Counterfeit. Huh. That really pissed me off.

I am new. I just wanted to share a few things and ask a few things. Are you devout Christians and do you know what that word means biblically. Not personally but first by the word of god. The bible says that Jesus came that we might have life and more abundantly (John 10:10). What is an abundant life biblically. Let me challenge you to those questions. A lot of times I believe that the true word is not spoken. Christianity has become a re-invented religion and people only choose the parts of god that they want to so that they feel somewhat moral, because being RELIGIOUS makes people feel moral or spritiually involved. And then some of us love god and wish to know him TRULY, and some of us wonder where is he and why we cannot feel him, because we are never truly thought how. God is AUDIBLE by the way, not make believe. And if you haven't experienced his presence you need to ask him for that experience so it can change your life. God will always love us no matter what we do, but that does not mean we can do whatever we want to. It is very important to know the truth about all of gods word and not just some, because the truth will save your life and save your soul. If you died today would you go to heaven for sure. I have been labeled for my love for god by non believers and christians because of the depth of truth I give by the word of god.. People call me a fanatic. I use to think that way too, until god got a hold of me, got hold of my heart to teach others and help them, and my life.. he changed it completey, and saved my soul for hell. To him be the glory! We really need to search for the truth so that we can secure our futures in heaven with the Lord God Almighty.. who searches the reigns and hearts. (Revelations 2:18-23) Please be sure you have the right doctrine, so you can secure your salvation. We cannot serve him half way in the world and half way in god. (Revelations 3:14-22) In everything I acknowledge him and I serve him in the holiest and most honourable way. When we acknowledge him then he can guide us, only then. (Proverbs 3:5) God is a spirit and so we must serve him inspirit and in truth in which you should understand in the born again experience. WHAT IS TRUTH??- cause that is what sets us free. (John 8:31-36)We that serve him must serve him in spirit and in truth. I am not here to scold anyone but in my heart I wish that none should perish (2 Peter 2:9). Walking in god is not an easy task. Personally my journey and sacrifice began when I realized that I want to save all my loved ones from what they didn't understand. God is very cool, and very mysterious and awesome, when you get to know him it's amazing and for real. He is not a God of Condemnation but a God of Truth and Truth sets us free, without TRUTH we are in bonds, I know I was for 20 years.
He is a god of Love- John 3:16 He is a god that is a Consuming fire (Hebrew 12:27-29)
Those who do not have a foundation , jesus being the chief corner stone will be tried in the fire. In the last days our hearts will be tried in the fire on judgement day, that is the consuming fire, if you are not made pure by the fire of the holyghost, the fire shall consume you and your works. GOD will judge the heart by fire. And we who are holy become as precious gold.
DEFINITON FOR CHRISTIAN: A christian is a forerunner for god a representative and ambassador, a servant whos path follows righteousness and holiness. Who was jesus in the bible, that is what it means to be christian or CHRISTLIKE. He was merciful, forgiving, truthful, honest, giving, he healed the sick and was merciful to the ones who wanted repented. Yet while we were sinners christ... he died for us regardless who we were. It is what we will be that he died for, the greater potential we have in our lives in service to the king.. God
Bless you All and challenge yourself. Revelation 3:14-22

That truly is an interesting post about our Lord and Saviour Jesus! It's such a blessing to know that God would command the blessing from on high and that our Lord Jesus would be obedient unto his Father. Obedient unto the point of death on the cross. I'm so thankful that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ has made me free from the law of sin and death. Blessed be his holy name! When I think about how the Lord shared the glory of God before this world was ever spoken intexistence it makes me just shudder knowing that while we did not know us, he knew all his members that were written in the book of life! Here he is with no need of man and still he was willing to come into the womb of a virgin and walk without spot or blemish for about 33 1/2 years to fulfill all righteousness for us. When I think about those scenes in Passion of the Christ and the way he allowed his precious body to be broken and his holy blood spilled for our transgressions it just amazes me! Talk is truly cheap and while many blindly say that they would do the same for him, I myself hope and pray that I never find myself in that predicament. Being but dust, born in iniquity and conceived in sin, I just can't say that I would have the guts to do what he did. Some might call that unthankful but I call it honest. Those same scenes make me thankful that he was not only willing, but was capable of being that only Lamb of atonement acceptable unto God to make the atonement for our sins. Truly with the Lord's wrath being manifested against sin by the hatred of satan and his followers I just shudder thinking about how bad hell will be for all who do not believe the gospel. The Lord is just so precious! I just cannot thank him enough! Thank you for a beautiful post. May God bless,
Tiff
