Slept late this morning. Thought I reset my alarm for one more hour, but ended up changing the time! Woke up and thought it was almost 10:00! It was only almost 9:00!! Didn't get to work until about 10:30. Plan to leave early. I'm NOT sitting in that horrendous traffic again.
It's pretty amazing how much turmoil our city is in, and this far inland we didn't have that much damage. At least, not compared to Galveston. Those of us with power, water, cable & Internet feel guilty. Or should at least, we should be moved enough to do something to reach out to others. Just not sure what to do. It all seems so overwhelming.

I am alive...just wanted everyone to know. It was a rough week at work. I worked throughout the storm. I would up working a 25 hour shift at one point. So, now I am recovering. Have had power since the day after the storm....hope everyone is doing well...love ya'll!
