As if the hurricane wasn't bad enough, we had a huge line of thunderstorms move through early this morning. The water completely flooded the street & managed to get into the house in a couple of rooms. It seeped in below the bricks. But we are fine, the water is receding, and this rain is with a front that is bringing cooler weather. Which is great since we don't have power. However, since I am married to a genius of an electrician, we have a generator.
Keep praying for us down here. There are a couple million people without power and now there are even more issues with this additional water.

Dear Lord, Please take away all of the flood waters that is running all over Houston. Help workers bring back the electricity and repair any damage. Give hope to those that really need it. Be with them all. For in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
I have been praying for you guys... I am glad you are safe. I am sorry to hear the water got into your house... what about Alan & Kory? and Amy... amd Grandma Lett, is she okay?
I hope you guys are fine... I pray the flood waters receed quickly and the repair work can proceed safely... I am also praying the find all of those missing people in Galvaston... Hopefully you guys don't have as many missing in Houston.
