Ok....so I ready your posting the other day Mama.....
I cannot believe you brought up Christmas.....I cannot believe it is right around the corner. I have had the annoying congestion too....cannot seem to shake it. So what is everyone up to today?
Hello David, we missed you at our last Grace Group, Formally known as Bible Study, aka chinese buffet day.
Take a guess where I'm at, no not kicking it back with my baby Steve (visit his website quite nice www.stevesandvoss.com), no I am not at Saulud having some Black Raspberry Merlot (still too early, may be one more hr), give up? it was a really easy one because if Victor is not sleeping at home he is at work. GRRR!
Hola! David, we have missed you!!! I was beginning to think we had made you mad!!
Teddy & I just got back from Petco. We almost came home with a Conure. That's a medium size bird, for those who don't know. He was so sweet & playful. He would stay on the front of the cage, and we could put our finger in and he would either climb up or let us scratch him. We fell in love with him. But decided that he needed more attention and interaction than we could give him, since we both work long hours. And since he was $350, we decided he needed to go home with someone else. We ran into a friend from church and she said we needed that bird like we needed another tooty hole. Cracked me up.
We did buy Riley a little monkey to play with. It's about 6" long, and when you squeeze it, it makes a monkey shriek sound. She is currently sitting on the floor next to me, making it shriek, and growling at Scooter. Aren't pets great?

Naw...I am still around...sorry it has been really busy at work lately. The airline is a rough industry right now. Everyone taking cutbacks....which means, more work for me, and at the same time, everyone who did not get laid off is taking a pay cut....so that means, more work...less money...something does not seem right about that....
I need to be here more often, too. Work has been INSANE lately, with getting the store ready for Labor Day. Yesterday, me and a stocker had to restock the entire toilet paper/paper towel aisle over and over until almost all of the paper goods were gone. (Don't ask me about the napkins and paper plates!) They're going to hire us even MORE unloaders/stockers over the next couple of weeks; we're going to have a new way of unloading the trucks, stocking the back room, and getting the goods out on the floor. It's going to be more work, but I will get a RAISE of twenty cents per hour.
I hope to start a sermon series here at TSA in a couple of days. It's going to be my own exposition on the Sermon on the Mount.
