Getting to know TSA

I'd go back to Vancouver, B.C. in a heart beat. I loved it , it was so clean and the flowers were the biggest and best I've ever laid my eyes on. All the parks were manicured to perfection and the streets were always clean. It's a great place.

Question: If you could be anybody in history , who would it be and why ?????

I definitely have to go visit Vancouver, so many people I know think it is a great place.

If I could be anyone in history, whom would I be and why?

I think there are so many events that have taken place in history which would be amazing to witness first hand, but nothing interests me more than what is to come. And what better view of the future do we have other than Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Yes I loved Star Trek the Next Generation. So I would like to be a spaceship captain discovering new worlds, when ever that may be 100...500 yrs from now. A part of me thinks people on earth really need to get over them selves. God has the entire universe in his hands, I am sure he made other special and marvelous things out there. (or J. Holmes just kidding...hmmm... no no just kidding).

Okay so my question is:

What is one of the dumbest things you have ever done, the kind you think back smack your head and say "what on earth was I thinking"?

So I guess you can also answer your own question if you would like. I was a junior in high school and apparently had nothing to do so I decided to stick a pair of scissors into an electric socket, yes I did. I remember feeling very stiff for about 3 or 4 seconds and all I saw was a very bright flash of light, I couldn't see anything but white for about 5 or 10 seconds.

My ultimate dumb moment:

I was 10. It was a hot summer day, like today, when my mom decided to fill up an old washpan (the big tweny-gallon tin kind) with water and let me use it as a "po' mans' jacuzzi". I sat in it until I got sunburned. My mom told me to come to the back door and she'll be waiting with a change of clothes. Now my house had TWO back doors, and with my bad luck, I went to the wrong one. I got undressed, ran to the door...and found it LOCKED! I then went to the other back door and ran inside. We had linoleum floors, and my mom had just WAXED them earlier that day (you can probably guess what's coming!).

When I stepped onto that floor, I slipped, fell flat on my naked BUTT, slid the ENTIRE length of the living room, and CRASHED into the stereo system...catching one of the stereo's knobs in a VERY SENSITIVE AREA of my lower anatomy! OUCH!

But wait! It gets BETTER!!!

As I was getting dressed, and nursing my wounds, the phone rang. It was my Dad's mom...who, I should mention at this time, lived right next door to us. She was sitting in her living room, watching her soaps, when my uncle (who lived with her) hollered for her to quickly come outside. She ran outside, thinking that he was in an accident, and found him rolling with laughter on the ground, pointing up at my house. She looked up just in time to see my naked little behind run around to the 2nd back door and zip inside!

Over the phone...and into the next room...I could hear MamMaw ask my mom, "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON UP THERE! YOU GOT J.D. [my mickname] RUNNING AROUND WITHOUT A STITCH OF CLOTHES ON!!!"

I think that's how I started up my habit of nudism...

My question: With "The Dark Knight" movie coming out, which was your favorite comic book hero and why? Mine's Batman because he doesn't have special powers...just a lot of money to buy those cool "toys" with.

Which was your favorite comic book hero and why?

Jeffrey you took my answer and for the same reason :( but lets see, Another super hero I would pretend to be when I was a kid was Tygra from the thundercats, well is he a superhero or just a character? I remember I would walk around with a jump rope pretending to be him, his weapon was a wip that had explosives at the end. I remember my mom would say "stop playing by your self and play with your sisters", I wonder if at some point in time she regretted it because I loved to play barbies with my sisters.

Question: If you could invent one single thing to help humanity what would that be? It can be a machine, government program, medical advancement anything.

Okay, Victor. I love this thread but the questions are too hard!! But here goes...

I would invent a magic wand that we could wave over our food and it would negate all fat grams & calories!

I tried to think of something meaningful, but it just kept sounding sappy. I started to post here about 4 times before this!! Here's my question:

What is the strangest food you eat? (For example, Teddy used to crush potato chips in a bowl, cover them with ketchup, and eat it with a spoon!) bleh

Well I have had potato chip sandwiches but ice cream or ketchup hmmm not so much.

If I had lots of money how would I help? Well it depends on the number of millions, 1 million doesn't go very far now a days. If I only had one million my mom and sisters would get a new car and I would pay off their bills, friends would get a free trip somewhere, I would donate 100,000 to small charities that help single mothers, and the rest would go in the bank for a rainy day.

Question: What is your favorite ice cream flavor and if you don't like ice cream do you know what is wrong with you? Butter Pecan ice cream is a little bit of heaven every bite.

I had a weird dream today. So normally I don't dream, or don't remember dreaming, and if I do remember they are usually very gory with blood and open flesh everywhere, Yes ppl don't judge. Any way todays dream was weird because there was no gory stuff, others may see it as gross. So I had a dream that I was at the mall shopping and I told my friend I am going to shower. And yes there was a shower at the mall. The entrance was just like any other mall store entrance and there was a bathtub, with no curtains, and I started to shower. At some point when I was about to finish I looked out to the mall hall way and saw my friend Mike and said "good he is ready to go". I just woke and started laughing, so strange.

Any way, my question is:

What is your favorite song at the moment, the one you can put on all day. At the moment I would say it is Forever by Chris Brown. I just picture him signing it to me.

My song for today was "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper, it really helps the day go by faster when I listen to up beat music.

How many phone calls did you receive today and whom where they from? 5 calls (2 from the moma, sister #1, sister #2, and my friend Kim (was I ready for lunch) lord I need more men in my life LOL.

On my cell phone, I think I only received two - one from Teddy & one from a coworker while I was at lunch with Teddy. My office phone only rang a couple of times today, too. Nice.

If you could get anything in the world for Christmas, what would it be & why? And no sappy answers like "world peace". Or whirled peas.

I like the money idea Evelyn, if I could have anything in the world aside from money and health I think I would like a in home theater system, projector and all. It would be nice to see my favorite movies live size hmmm.

New question: Hand Sanitizers, are they a must have or do they just make your hands sticky? I like to use them but its because I have problems (mental problems), I usually use 70% ethanol to clean my hands in the lab (like a million times a day) so the hand sanitizer is great for home. I have heard of people not liking them because they leave sticky hands.

I find that plain soap and water works just as well as the sanitizers.

Wow, Jeffrey. That's a hard question - trying to narrow it down to one, but I'd have to say Hershey's Kisses. I might get tired of nuts or peanut butter or caramel, but I'm always ready for chocolate!

Believe it or not Jeffery, I like to eat those chocolate morsels like you use in chocolate chip cookies. I like the dark chocolate ones and can just eat them right out of the bag by the handful.. Guess I'd wish for a freezer full of those...

My favorite memory of school was the week of graduation. We exchanged gifts and I got a can of chicken noodle soup so I would "keep my strength up" in class and won't fall asleep! ZZZZZZ

But I love Abigail, not the prettiest girl and she is still making it in the film industry. I guess my nominees would be all three kids in the ABC tv show "according to Jim", I just don't like them not sure why, lol.

Question:

How do you prefer to sleep at night?

I personally like the room to be freezing cold, a fan on, and a thick blanket over me. It makes me feel like someone is hugging me all night long.

With Wall-E out on DVD, what is your favorite Disney movie and why?

My favorite Disney movie would have to be the little mermaid. I think it takes me back to some good times when I was a young. My little sister and I where the bestest of friends, my moms health was doing great (having just passed a very hard patch), my dad was visiting, and I was not aware that I was different from some of my friends. I could go on but that would be another post :)

Question: What does "I love you" mean to you. There are friends that I say "I love you" too and there are some that I would consider even better friends but I never say ILU. I am not even sure I say ILU only because they said it first.
