I just got in touch with a friend I had not seen in 8 years...and we went to the same UMC church when I was younger. She went off and is almost an ordrained minister...and she has come to realize that gay people are not condemed. In fact, we talked a great deal about it and she has given me hope. She is a great friend and I believe God just brought her back into my life. If you all have the time...watch this video she sent to me of the UMC conference and some protestors against denying GLBT in church. It is very emtional...but so worth wathcing.

The woman speaking is a friend of my friend and is Bi. This is a powerful video to me and I hope it helps some of you if you are still struggling

Thomas, that's a very touching video.  It renews my desire to be involved in the Reconciling Ministries Network around here.  Thanks for posting it.

For those old GCN members, right near the beginning of the video, you can see Georgia Joey!  And yes, he's still adorable!!
