Normal life wanted, inquiries within

Ok I'm out. I'm in Crystal City right now at Kinko's trying to figure out the next move. The house meeting was a horrific disaster after a couple of weeks of dealing with roommates doing everything in their power to drive me out.

I should have figured that the day I "interviewed" there (I already formally interviewed with the landlord earlier who does not live there) that when it took an hour for them to let me in the house and for one of them to try to ask me deeply personal questions about my finances and other issues that clearly were out of his boundaries (and of course declined to answer); all of that should have clued me on the atmosphere of the place and why I should have sought elsewhere to live. Dumb me I figured "I am meant to not live there or meant to live there" Guess which I chose? DUMB PHIL [goth hand to forehead]

Anyway, after weeks of hearing reports of trash never being taken out (which I did), the bathroom rug soaked with some kind of fluid (I was blamed for that of course, have no idea how that happened but I could not have caused it unless I would have put the rug in the shower), the shower curtain mysteriously torn down and thrown downstairs while I reinstall it and hear roommates yelling at each other about my reinstalling it (I kid you not), the light fixture in the kitchen mysteriously found on the kitchen floor in shattered pieces when I came home the other night, and the smell of cat urine in the upstairs bathroom coming from the cat the one roommate has (and is not allowed to have because it's illegal) yet I was blamed for that too..

..oh and the vague verbal threat by the roommates while on the phone with the landlord..

Tell me how long you think I should stay there.

Note: I just moved in 3 weeks ago

I move to my new place - my own place - starting on Monday. No roommates. It's an efficiency close to DC, but it's a rather BIG efficiency, and NO ROOMMATES.. NONE! NADA! EJ DE ROOMMATARE!!!
