My brother-in-law Wayne, Rebecca's dad, was in a car accident this morning. He's okay. He is just a little banged up and bruised, but his vehicle is a goner. He and his family are now having to find a new truck to get to work in. They are having a hard time this year with their debts and this incident will make things even harder. They need all of the prayers that they can get. Let God use this for his glory.
It turns out that it wasn't Wayne's truck that was wrecked but a friend's of his, with the two of them in it. His friend was towing Wayne's wagon when one of the tires blew and the wagon steered the truck off the road. I HOPE that this will teach Wayne to finally give up trying to get some extra money by hauling other people's trash for scrap, and get himself a REAL job!
As for Rebecca, she's ok. She wasn't in the wreck. She is doing better with her home schooling and homework. She is trying to get her mom and dad to buy her a PUPPY, but she already has a bunch of cats to take care of, and we don't think that they'll take to it so lovingly.
