Back at work. Yuck. Thought I had a hole at the toe of my stockings when I got here. Turned out to be that my shoe has come apart! So I went to DSW at lunch and settled on a pair. As I was getting in the car, I had the thought that I should have tried both shoes on, instead of just the right one. I brought the shoes up to my office before putting them on, just in case... Sure enough, one must be mismarked! I walk right out of it!! GRRR. Now I have to go back there while still wearing my falling apart shoes!!
I'm already ready for another vacation!

I thought that problems would be handled while I was away, instead they just waited for me to get back and deal with them. Oh well nice to be needed, but not abused!
I didn't think Lisa would be able to buy a pair of shoes on lunch break. I've been with her shoe shopping!

first off i have been having the hardest time getting onto this board. probably because of my dial up at home, i could get as far as the home page and then get booted off.
i got a promotion at work, which i am officially not doing shift work anymore. wooohooo. monday to friday, 8 am til 4 pm, with a couple of on call nights. pay increase, and more holidays! yaaaay
and if you think that is good news wait til you read the next bit....
i was sent to toronto for a conference that dealt with children being exploited, i wasnt supposed to go, the staff that is in charge of our outreach was going to go, but was in a car accident and due to her whiplash wasnt allowed to fly.
so i told jeanine that i was going to toronto, and we made it possible for her to join me. well God made it possible, but we sure prayed that it would work out.
and guess what we did....we got married!!!!!!!! woohoo! its official she is now mrs. nikked homer!!!
and i am ever so greatful and thankful and humbled that God loves me so much that He gave me her.
Shelly, you have started my day with a smile!!! Congratulations to you both!!! I'm going to copy your post and start a new thread because I don't want people to miss this!
