*sighs* I'm pretty depressed today. Well...things at my school have not started off good at all. Classes are canceled today due to a homicide right on campus around 10pm last night. The whole campus is on lockdown. We even made the national news on Fox. It's so sad...we are the #1 crime ridden urban area in the whole United States. I can't wait to graduate and get away from Memphis. I just hope I don't die before I can get away. In other news,which is a little good news, a smoking ban started today in Tennessee that prohibits smoking in all restuarants. So no more smelling smoke while I'm trying to eat! I think I heard eventually they are going to try to ban smoking within 15ft of any public establishment...which basically means everywhere! That would be kind of cool. Well..I'm gonna go back to sleep for like 2 hours. I have 2 exams to study for tomorrow later. We have a smoking ban here in Houston & it's great! Until a month ago, people could still smoke in bars at restaurants, but even that is now banned. So those gay bars the guys go to are now smoke free! This old mama might find her way there afterall!
It's a much more relaxed day here at the office for a change. Actually, right now, I'm the only one here! No one to give me more work!!
