Hi I am going to be the first today only because I haven't gone to bed yet. I came across this wonderful video in my email from Ex-gay watch newsletter... Although it is geared largely towards african american persons... IT is a powerful message of love, and hope for any person of faith struggling with life issues who is LGBTQ... apparently the 700 Club exploited the grief of an African American Woman to pull her into the Ex-gay movement and produce a video... This video... IS an affirming Beauitful, resourceful response.

Good Sunday afternoon all. I've been hopping this weekend. Went to a pool party yesterday, for most of the day. (came home slightly sunburned) Came home and grilled a London Broil. Then as Papa knew I would, watched the race...
Today went to church and then out to lunch with a bunch of folks from church. Had a great afternoon of fellowship. Then to the grocery store and got home at 4:30 this afternoon. Time for the afternoon nap. Then gotta tackle some laundry and fix supper.....then it'll be time to wind down the weekend and get ready for another week at work.......

I had a double dose of church today! I went to the 8:00 service this morning at our church, then picked up Korey & went out to Unity Church because Alan was doing all the music. He was awesome as usual! And the speaker was wonderful. His name is Rocco Errico, and what he had to say was way outside the box for me. But I loved it! I've already ordered one of his books.

I got up and went to the Mississippi River and then got back home and got ready for church. It has been 4 years since I went to that church...and it hasn't changed a bit,lol. They still sing the same songs and stuff...but everyone is grown up now. I saw a guy today who is about 13,and I remember when I had to help take care of him when he was 7! We went to a skating rink for church and I was always having to keep him up,lol. It was just so great seeing old face. I ran into my 4th grade teacher...and also my 6th and 7th grade English teachers,who just happen to be married. lol,so today was fairly well. I'm so nervous about my first day of college tomorrow. Not even my first day and I have an assignment due soon. Well,I guess that's college...I can't wait to be making some money so I can do stuff on weekends and vacations. lol.
