Today sucked...my other step-grandfather is in the ICU. I haven't heard more on him and I just don't feel like going through another death. I won't have anymore grandfathers if he dies...

Good Evening all.
DGD (Amy) came this evening and brought pizza .. Sure tasted good for a change. She did my laundry for me and boy did I appreciate that. We ate about half the pizza when DGS (Alan) called to tell me he and Korey were coming so Amy told them not to bring anything as we had left over pizza so here they came and there went the pizza.!!! We all sat around talking and watching America's Got Talent.  Sure good to have them all over. Makes my day and I'm so glad they want to come. Warms a Grandma's heart. They all just left wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Y'all have a good tomorrow and God Bless
Mammaws

And God bless you mammaws... it is wonderful that grandchildren are close enough geographically they can still come visit...and they are very lucky to have you healthy and alert for them to be able to visit with... That is the one thing I miss more than anything in all the world is the visits with my Grandma Dorothy... She is still living but she hasn't been the same ever since she started having strokes (doctor's say she has alzhimers, but I don't think so... not atypical alzhimers... she has recovered some of her lost memories, and lost senses, such as taste & smell--which people don't do with alzhimers... but if it were stroke damage... it is possible for the brain to regrow and repair itself).

Anyway... I miss my visits with her so much... I am going to NC to visit her in September... She will know I am there... but she isn't able to talk hardly at all... she pretty much sleeps all the time.

It sounds like Alan and Amy realize how blessed they are to have you in their lives... and I thank you for great attitude and your contributions to the shepherds arms... and for Accepting Korey into your family.

Hugs,
Jerry
