I guess I'm alone around here today. I'm alone at home for the weekend. In case you didn't read last night's post, Teddy & Alan have gone to Dallas for the weekend so Alan can register today for the American Idol audition on Monday. Maybe we'll all get to go back to Hollywood!

Here we are. Check in took all of about 10 minutes. It took longer to get into the hotel! Our room door lock is broken and they are here trying to fix it now. Everyone pray that Monday goes well. I'll post more later.
That sounds exciting "American Idol". Working in the lab which can be . The worst part is that I am doing some stuff that has to be babysat the majority of the day so I can't even run out for lunch .
I hope you too are doing better...and I am almost sure Allen will make it,hehe. He's got the confidence and the voice to do it. I wish I wasn't so scared of singing in front of others...otherwise I'd try out in Memphis. Anyways..I just got back from spending the night with my mom. I am a little sad. She is having marriage issues..and I can't do much about it. But,I'm going to look for some help. I hope I don't sound like a bad person..but I am looking for help to get her away from my stepdad. He is very unhealthy for her. He emotionally abuses her and takes advantage of her being deaf...some ways he does is going out and drinking, and smoking weed too. She is in a sticky situation because a lot in their trailer is split half and half financially. Well...I'm going to get her some help if it's the last thing I do. I want to get her to be independent and be able to find a job..and even have her own place.It may take a while...but she will do it. And if my stepdad tries to do anything...he'll have to deal with me. Oh God,sorry everyone. I got carried away and wrote a lot,lol. Well,have a great day everyone!!!

Victor, your job sounds about as interesting as my day! Basically I waited for hours for a very, smelly, slow moving cable guy, only to end up having him take the modem away with him! I'm canceling our Time Warner/Comcast. They are a bunch of IDIOTS!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear of everyones difficulties today.
Thomas, I bid you well wishes and stand in your corner as you assist your Mom and her situation. I hope that all works out for her. She must be a great woman, afterall, her son is a great person! May she find the life she deserves.
Vic, sorry to hear of your work woes. May next week be better than this.
Mama, next time a smelly person comes to work at your house, bring out the Lysol!!!! Ewwwww I hope that all works out in your cable situation.
Now about me. I had a great day, despite working. Had one "needy" patient today, but the rest were good, run of the mill patients. So my day went well.
Grilled a couple of lamb steaks, served with herb roasted potatoes and a green salad for supper. Mmmmmmmm I've had a very relaxing evening.
