I would like to have everyones prayers as I venture into a new project that has been in the works for many years. The AlphaProject.org will hopefully go live by the end of the year. It is going to be an internet outreach based organization where the realization of sexual diversity ceases to be seen as an end...but a beginning. We will be reaching out predominately to youth who are struggling with their homosexuality, and also to those who are dealing with the issue of religion and homosexuality. We will be addressing the issues of acceptance, suicide, family rejection, and a bunch of other topics. My friend has agreed to design the website, and she is doing it completely free of charge. She is actually very excited about the project. This has been the break I have been waiting for, and I really feel God speaking to me to get this project off the ground. Please pray for wisdom in the coming months as I work toward this goal. Any help anyone might be able to give would be greatly appreciated. I also want to have a link to TSA on my new website. Please let me know if there are any objections to this. Below is the Bible verse that has fueled my desire to do this.
The Spirit of God is upon me to proclaim the good news to the outcast, has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to announce deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to those who cannot see, and to set at liberty those who are beaten up and bruised, and to proclaim the time of God's acceptance of all people.
Hello David, I will be sure to keep you and your new project in my prayers. I pray that god keeps giving you the tools you need and the drive to see your project through.
I am jumping up and down for joy about this one. One of the things I wanted to do with the project was to incorperate and get a 501c3 tax exempt status. Well, all the information I was searching through was very discouraging and it was looking like it was going to cost me a fortune in attorney fees to do this. However, the other night my friend Amelia invited me to go with her to a birthday party for one of her friends. Now, I had met this guy several times in the past, but we never really became good friends or anything like that. So, I am standing in his beautiful home, and I come to find out that he is an attorney who specializes in corporate law. Well, I wanted to get some tips from him to see what I could do. What came next was truely an intervention from God. I told him about the project. He immediately went outside to his car, brought me back his business card, and said, "whenever you are ready to do everything, you let me know, and my legal team will do it all, free of charge." I nearly burst into tears. Everything I need to have done is going to be done for free. All I have to do is pay the registration fee and that is only $100. Everything else is covered. I am really happy, and I thought I would share all this since I could not sleep. Talk to ya'll soon!!
Be yourself!!! Don't try to fit into someone else's mold, you won't fit!!! And that just leads to utter misery!!! Live life to it's fullest in Christ's love every day!!!
