I was reading in my copy of "Depression for Dummies" about this little exercize that you can do to help get you out of a bad mood: make a list of five things that I'm thankful for, and why. They can be as "little" or "insignificant" as you like...nothing is too small! I thought that this would make a good and uplifting game for all of us! So here goes!
I'm thankful for:
1. Music! I can't get through the day without a good dance.
2. God's Word. I need my bible everywhere I go. I even have a copy at work!
3. The Holy Spirit. I need his guidance as I go through this dark and depressing world.
4. My family. True, they drive me CRAZY sometimes, but I still them!
5. YOU GUYS! You all have helped me get a new life that I once thought was impossible for me to ever have!
1. My cat, Dmitri, being my secondary alarm clock. When the alarm goes off to wake me up, he starts to knead his paws on my head to wake me up, too!
2 My friends here!
3. And much more! =) (Generic, but my brain is shutting down.)
