I've been struggling for about 5 or more years with one pesky element of my clarinet playing, and in the past several days I've reached the height of frustration. I finally just stomped my feet and yelled a "Why won't you HELP me?" prayer. (I'm not usually so disrespectful, but in desperation my prayers contain more than a little raw emotion)
Anyway, almost immediately I began having breakthroughs- one after another- to the point that today I can see, with a little work, I will no longer have problems in this area.
I don't think any of you could understand what a blessing this is to me; this aspect of playing has been the one single element that has held me back for this many years, and caused oodles of self-doubt. I can now be more confident than ever (though not arrogant, hopefully) as I begin my Master's degree next year.
Praise God for his help and encouragement- I really feel like he has wonderful things planned for me! Thanks be to God!
