My mom gave me the Jason Mraz Live CD and with it came the live DVD. So, after a long stressful day at work I come home and plop down on the couch and watch. Between the songs they would have little interviews with Jason and his band. One of the things Jason is known for is the random rooster. He Explains how he needed to wake up in the morning and be a morning person because the world was so different in the morning. He decided to get a rooster tattoo so it would be like a brand that would remind him to wake up early everyday and start days with ambition. He says how a rooster wakes people up with a song. "It's not a pretty song, but it's his own song and he sings it well and we all know it." That right that says so much. I need to start singing my own song.
I'm gonna get up every day singing my song.
Actually, now that I think about it, The preacher at MCCA just did a sermon on singing your own song. Odd.
