I just received a short letter from my mom, asking me to try harder to change into a straight. This came out of nowhere. I know she's scared her little boy will end up in hell. These things are so complex to complain. And she's mostly a recluse, so it's not like I can convince her to read a book on the subject, or to talk with someone else.

She lives 800 miles away. She's an intensely private person, so I have no idea what brought on the sudden change, beyond that she says she had been thinking things through more.
I have a mom that I know is still holding out hope that I will "get cured" one of these days for being gay. You just continue to be yourself and never let anyone tell you otherwise.
Trust me...There is no joy greater than just being yourself before God!!!
