Not me! I know that such stuff is both utter nonsense AND a means of getting involved with the occult. Even skeptics have debunked such things in college classrooms by telling everyone there to write out a horoscope intended for someone else. Do you know what happened? They all wrote about the exact same horoscope!
I believe in letting God take control of my life. Ever seen one of those license plates with the words "God is my co-pilot"? I believe in taking it one step further: giving Him complete control of all that I am. Ever heard of that country song, "Jesus, Take the Wheel"? That's what I'm talking about. It makes me cry every time I hear that song...
Hmm... I'm sort of in-between. I don't like them, but I don't dislike them because I think it's the gateway to hell or anything. I just think they're silly. Yes, they do apply sometimes, but they're meant to apply to whole huge groups of people, so they can't be too specific.
I used to read Tarot cards. I was really good at it, too! I probably could have charged money for it, given the hours of study and practice I put into it. Trouble is, those are just as vague as a horoscope, and the interpretation relies so heavily on knowing as much as you can about the person you're reading for-- just so you can make it applicable.
With any of these things that get called "occult" or "leading to occult things" you just have to be careful not to take it too seriously. Tarot cards are just fun. Horoscopes can be fun too. Trouble is, they get used as if they're serious divination, and they don't work like that. Tarot cards don't really have that kind of power. When people try that kind of crap, they wind up either basing their whole life on this inaccurate "divination" that's really just an amusement, or they try to make it more accurate/powerful/whatever by adding something that IS occult/demonic/whatever you want to call it.
In my case, I could have kept doing the tarot cards just for fun. But people kept asking serious, life-altering questions, and I felt unable to answer them with these simple cards. Next thing I knew I had slipped into automatic writing, spirits, and all sorts of REALLY scary stuff. That's when I knew it was bad news. Not the cards themselves or the reading of the cards, but putting belief in them and searching for more power that was potentially dangerous.
So, even though the cards weren't directly to blame, I sold them on Ebay and nowadays I probably wouldn't remember half of their meanings. I do know they're totally misrepresented/misinterpreted in movies (roll eyes).

It's not that I believe or don't believe in horoscopes and stuff.....I just don't care about it one way or another. I find it amusing that some people plan their whole lives around horoscopes or tarot cards or whatever.
