You know...just about six months ago, I was contemplating suicide...either with one of my grampa's shotguns, or by running off with the first pervert that I met within the gay part of the net. I came across CGN, purely by a Google search for gay Christians (I didn't want to shack up with a New-Age guru-wanna-be), and came across you guys...
And you guys made all the difference!
I was so depressed that I was suicidal...Now, I haven't had a SINGLE anxiety attack in MONTHS! Even when I came out to my mom!
I was so crazy from anxiety from the PTSD that was put upon me by my abusive childhood, that I would often strip naked, lie on my bed and shake like a leaf while holding onto the headboard for dear life...Now, I haven't had an anxiety attack since the last day of April!
I was so self-hating because of I couldn't "fix" my homosexuality...Now, I am wearing a gay pride bracelet, reading gay books and news sites, watching gay people on LOGO, listening to gay Christian music (THANKS, ALAN! I voted for ya!)...and I am PROUD to be QUEER! I am even thinking about getting a gay pride flag and putting it up in my room...along with a turning disco ball! HA-HA!
My life is GOOD!
And I owe it all to Jesus...Who COULDN'T have done it without using ALL OF YOU!

The truth is...I was so busy that day that I couldn't even fix my birthday cake until late that night! I had to wait until the next day to get a piece!
I've been off the computer for a while with other things. I am so glad you are where you are today as compared to just 6 months ago. Keep on trusting and listening and God will bless you more and more. I hope your birthday was fantastic and here's to many, many more.
