well, things have been moving fast for me the past month and a half. the new self-employment is going great and i have been able to make some inroads with my mental health clients.
i kept my 2002 car, paying it off, to use for clients/work, bought a new one, AND... get this... put a contract on a 2nd house! yes, i have stepped out big time in faith, and am actually seeing a dream or two come to being. it looks as if my bid was accepted on the 2nd house. i plan to move down the street 6 doors to it, and i am going to rent rooms in this house.
my broker has also informed me that there is nothing holding me back from the purchase of another one right away. there are a few on my street, and i am going to look into houses that have been foreclosed on.
i have met a sweet guy, he lost everything in katrina and moved back to virginia with his parents. not sure where this is going, AND, i have been in contact with a young fella who actually has a profile here who would like to persue something should robin and i not get things going. wow... two guys! sigh, figures huh? just when i was being hurt by one and rejected, and feeling like i would not have much hope in the near future.
please keep my four clients in your prayers, myself as i work with them, and to understand mental illness better as well as leading by the holy spirit as to what else i am to do in the way of business ventures.
my health issues seem to be better again! praise god for minimal pain.
any other takers? lol... still taking applications.

May the good Lord continue to bless you and reward you as you continue to help and bless those that come to you for help. I am so glad that things are going so well for you! I, too, have had bad times that seemed to have no end and no reprieve, but God has always turned each one into a blessing and a "doorway" to another deeper level of intimacy with Him.
I'm glad to here that things are looking up for you Tim. I pray that things continue to look up for you.

I'm in the other house, renting the original one up the street (one i bought 6 years ago). I am not sure what happened to Robin though. He went back to New Orleans to do some temporary work and I have not heard from him. Work still goes well...
