The Acts of Peter

So, I'm reading The Acts of Peter (from the book, Lost Scriptures) and I'm intrigued by the talking dog and the talking seven month old baby in a manly voice (as it's described).  Peter orders a dog to go and tell Simon, a satanically inspired sorcerer, to come outside to meet him.  Then later tells a mother and her seven month baby to approach the same man with another message, but tells the mother not to say a word....to let her seven month baby to all the talking.

Is anyone else reading or has read Lost Scriptures?

Um I don't know.  There are so many books in this one book I am reading.  But in the table of contents, The Acts of Peter is under Non-Canonical Acts of the Apostles....if that helps.
