Seeking and finding

So lately I have been questioning a lot of things.  I never question that God exists but just things as far as what my relationship with him is.  I get worried because I know I'm not the kind of Christian that a lot of people seem to expect a Christian to be but I know mostly it's between me and God so I'm not TOO worried.  Anyways, the whole point of this is that I have been asking God to show me truth and show himself to me to help make things clear.  This may seem like a really small thing but over the past two days I had been searching for a disk that has all my photos from my digital camera on it.  It has over 600 photos and was the only copy.  I couldn't find it anywhere and I specifically wanted to find it by today so that I could have a certain photo made for some friends that are coming over on Sunday.  After searching everywhere that I thought it would be for two days and starting to panic I stopped and prayed.  Literally within 10 seconds of praying I remembered where it was.  So I guess I want to say thanks to God for showing me that what matters to me matters to him.

There is NOTHING "worthless" that we can do because EVERYTHING we do matters to God.

He is just plain CRAZY about us! Just ask Him!

What a cool story, Susan!  I love it when God is involved in those little areas of our lives.  A while back Alan had major problems with his computer he uses for music and almost lost a bunch of stuff he had done with Jason & deMarco.  He prayed specifically for these certain files he needed, and was able to turn on his computer one last time and retrieve those files.  Then his computer wouldn't boot up again.  Later, he realized he lost one file that he hadn't prayed about.  Talk about a specific answer!

I think sometimes we expect to see the big God and miss His presence in our every day lives.

I'm glad you found your pictures!  I hope you continue to see His hand in your live!
