If you're interested in someone outside of your scene, don't invite them to a club that features your scene if they don't know how to behave in it, especially when this person has been drinking.

He was drunk when I picked him up to take him to the club. He was daring to "strip naked" at the club because he said people would love that. When we got there, he was drinking some more, badmouthing the bartenders (that I know very well), and groped some guy. I drove him home where he nearly threw up in my car, and then I dropped him off and sped off back to the club for damage control. The rest of my night went EXTREMELY well!
He called today to tell me he's quitting drinking.
Thanx.. Nick and I made up.. he's in upstate NY with his family and we spent Tuesday night together.. we're taking things slow for now.. but here's the scariest thought of all:

"First comes LOVE...then comes MARRIAGE..." Ooops! I forgot... ...we can't have THOSE for US, can we? They might "destroy the sanctity of marriage". Like marrying a woman just so you can be "cured" of your gayness wouldn't?
So convincing Nick to get a sex change would probably be a great way to circumvent this dilemma?
