Engrish!

My friend Brenda sent me this link. This kind of stuff is why Japan is my FAVORITE country in the entire world. I have been reading this site for an hour or so, wheezing, screaming, and crying my eyes out in laughter.

These are too funny!  I had to stop looking at them because I would end up sitting here for hours!  Did you see that adult ones?

!! No, I didn't notice an "adult" section. I'll probably come to it eventually; I've only just gotten down through "clothing" on the list.

I've seen the "adult" section...and there is a T-shirt there that would be PERFECT for PapaBear, with a little bear on the front of it!

You'll see what I mean...

Look closely at that bag - it says Hello Hitty!

I also like the "SPOONY" one.

I love the one with the bears eating honey, that talks about nature, and then randomly in the middle it says "A naughty act of nature."

LOL. In the adult section--

They use a the word **** quite often. :) I wonder what they mean by it, and even if they realize the harsh meaning we've stipulated to it?

This site made me laugh. :) Thanks for sharing!

I taught english in Japan for a year, mostly to salary men (business men).  I remember one class where one student started very casually talking about erections and the other men joined in.  Most japanese have difficulty pronouncing "l's" and so it took a few minutes before I realized we were actually talking about the elections.

Haha! When the movie "Election" came out, I had a little "bit" I did for my friends in which there was a middle-aged asian lady who went into a video rental store and the following conversation ensued:

"Welcome to Blockbuster."
"Hi! Hai. You have Erection????"
"I should say not!!"
"CLAP! I been to every video stole in town and nobody have Erection!!!"
"I'm sorry, I can't help you there."
"DAMN!! I just wanna see Erection. Prease, prease let me see Erection!!!!"
"Ma'am I'm going to have to ask you to leave."
etc......

(edit) Um, Mamalisa, I think there's yet another way curse words bypass the auto-censor. If you capitalize all the letters, it does it too. Sorry about this-- why is it always ME that has these little slip-ups?

Teddy wanted me to say your punishment is one hour of Fred Phelps video, but I'm not that mean!

"Damn" isn't one of the censored words.  The "bad" words are:  ****, ****, ****, ****, **** and ****.  (Actually, damn was one, but I took it off!)

Oh, ok. I just remembered "damn" having been censored and thought it was another slip-up. Ok
