I am sad to say that my uncle, Glen Williams, passed away this afternoon.
Our family is saddened by our loss, but we know that now he is no longer in any pain or sorrow...and is now beholding and worshipping our precious Lord in His presence, with my daddy and all of my other kin that has gone on before.
He didn't come to stay...
He just stopped by on his way home...
Jeffrey
P.S. - If you are worried about my emotional state, then don't. I have been through this before and I know that he is now feeling nothing but JOY EVERLASTING!
I'm sorry to hear about your loss. May the Lord of all Comfort give you and your family His peace during your time of mourning.

Losing a family member can be very painful, but from the sounds of your post you have the right attitude. I'll be praying for comfort for you and your family.
I am saddened by this news. Though I understand you know your Uncle has entered into peace, I also understand that you will miss him, and it's for that reason I'm praying for you and your family.
The prayers of your friends here at TSA are with you,

Thank you very much for your support, fellas. The prayers that you prayed I knew he is now reading in heaven, and is thankful to have had so many good people caring for him. He lived a very lonely existence. He, too, stayed home to take care of his mother. He was once a very gifted artist...so gifted that WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS once sent him a letter, asking him to come draw cartoons for them. He refused when he found out that he would have to leave his mother behind to go to California (she just didn't want to leave home and move that far from all that she has ever known).
That was the kind of man that he was...always thinking of those around him.
God bless each and every one of you for your love and compassion.
You are so awesome to look at this situation with a courageous and hopefull attitude! It has taken me 8 years; however, I view my mom dying the same way. :) She's with God, along with your uncle, and the rest of your fam! Praise the Lord! I'm praying for you, and your family--that they may feel the Spirit of love, and grace, and warmth, just wrapped up all in one...and have it bestowed upon y'all. *Christian Hugs* Darrel

I am glad for this; when I here of someone dying it's not always easy for me to say God has taken them home, praise God that they don't have to hang aound this Earth anymore. I mean seriously, I'd much rather be there than here. Sure, I cater to their feelings appropriately and stuff, but in the end, the recently deceased is in a much, much better place. I am sorry for your loss Jeffrey, but on the other hand, I'm so happy for your uncle because he's with God!!!!

I just came back from the funeral. They have laid my uncle's body to rest. His grave is just a stone's throw from his mother's grave. The service was BEAUTIFUL! Two preachers and close friends did the eulogy. They even had an altar call.
It was EXACTLY how Glen wanted it.
I want to thank all of you for your words and prayers that you have said for him and the rest of my family. I know that he would thank all of you in person if he could.
