...but should I be worried about our site?  We've got way more members than "posters".  And some days, like today, it seems like there's very little posting even by the active ones.  Is it just me worrying?

Do not let worry creep into your heart.  Take a look at GCN, they have hundreds of members but you don't see but, what 100 people?  I think they have over a thousand members, but only a few post.  Worry not, this site shall succeed.....

There will be slow days...and there will be BIG days...to each a season.


This just happens to be one of those slow times. And from what you wrote about the ordeal with your dog this morning...you could use the rest!

Hey! I'm not posting as much, cuz my life is super-duper busy for the next couple of months. I'm getting a 2nd job, so I shall be around even less. Don't worry.
GCN supposedly has thousands of members, but, I see the same 100 every day. Also, I think a couple of the members here no longer have the link to this site. Perhaps you could send out an email?
Everything will be ok! Trust me. Love ya!

But what really disturbs me is that there are several people who post regularly on GCN, and they are dead quiet here?

Dearest Lisa; Just commit it into the hands of the Lord hun. I imagine all sites have slow days. I imagine some of the members here have those days when they're just too busy. I can understand your concern and don't wish to sound heartless so please don't take it that way. Our precious Lord is more than capable of supplying all of your need from members and posting to the financial needs of the site dear. May God bless you hun. Love, Samantha.

I will be posting more in the future.  It just so happens that the last couple of weeks have been uniquely stressful.  And we're not quite to the end yet, although things are looking more positive...


And I LOVE this site.


At the very least, I read it every day.

by the way.. GCN doesnt only have hundreds.. they have a couple thousand. last i heard i think it was around 3000?

Why would it disturb anyone is someone was posting on GCN more than they were posting on here?  Is there some kind of contest? 


I think this site is doing great - for as new as it is, it seems to have quite a few members and there are new postings each time I come on here.

no worries k, your site is doing fine, as of april 10th i should be a lean mean posting machine, my crazy work is what holds me back. you have a wonderful place here lisa, i will tell you what i tell the staff here at the shelter when we are without kids, enjoy the quiet cuz next week you will wonder where your hair is.

What are some ways that we could focus on specific areas?

... couples forum


... dating & relationship advice


... church leaders


... 13-18 years old

... 30-40 years old


... 40-50 years old


... 50 on up...


... gay student organizations  (high schools & colleges)


... affirming churches


... social justice
