My longings


I long to experience more love so that I can better learn how to express it. 


 


I long to be able to listen so that I might hope to be heard.


 


I long to be accepted for my differences rather than feel bent out of shape.


 


I long to discuss, even respectfully challenge, beliefs without shaking faith.


 


I long for ‘The Body’ to accept my blemishes.


 


Okay so it's no Prayer of St. Francis but it expresses some of my angst.

No, it's not St. Francis, it's the prayer of St. Kenn!!!


I think so many of us, no matter how different we appear to be on the outside or how indifferent we are to each other, have those same desires, same longings.
