I know what you're going through, Phil...


My car had a flat tire, TOO, yesterday! My car tire just went...and all we had to go was another 200 feet from home! Me, my sister and her husband had to fix it. It was the most trying thing in the world just trying to get the stupid spare out of the trunk! We had to buy another tire...so there goes our tithe money for the rest of the month.


And it was turning out to be such a lovely day...


I'm praying for you.

I wish I could give you a big hug!  (Of course, while my arms were around you, I'd smack you on the back of your head!!)  I don't think you'd like a boring life like mine.  You'd go stir-crazy!

The fun-lovin' update:


The guy who was supposed to have put on the spare tire did so while rupturing the fuel line to my car.. so now I have to put on a new fuel line on top of a new tire


And he of course refuses to return my calls about when he is expected to fix the mistake he made (this is the same guy that sold me the car and tells me last night that none of this was his fault and that it was "God's will" that this all happened because "He is sending you a message you need to hear"


I got the message alright

Don't you love those people who tell you what God's message is?  I have a friend whose son & daughter-in-law have had two miscarriages in the last year or so.  They were visiting some "friends" who have a 4 month old baby, and these "friends" told them that the reason they had had the miscarriages is because God is punishing them for something.  Just the kind of thing you tell someone who isn't exactly a strong believer to begin with!!
