No, really, I just wanted to use that emoticon beside my post because it looks sad in a cute kind of way.
Ok, ok, ok, I don't want to admit it, but I'm feeling depressed. I dug up an old wound the other day, I'm still dealing with massive fatigue and i'm burning out on the internet (hopefully temporarily) which has the effect of pulling me away from friends.
And there's more, but I don't want to get into it or I'll get more depressed.
Aw, Mattie. I'm sorry you are depressed. I completely understand. But just remember, this too shall pass. Keep talking to us and let us love on you and pray for you!!

My good buddy, Matt, is feeling a little down. He needs You to come underneath him and lift him up. Open up his eyes to all of the wonderful things that You want to give him through Your holy word: love, joy, peace, hope, faith and assurance of his salvation. Don't give him "a case of the warm fuzzies"...But instead, give him the peace of mind that You will always bless him with Your warmth and remove his fears of what tomorrow might bring. Let Your Holy Spirit, Lord, rain down upon him with joyful lightness. Let him no longer worry about what might be around the bend, but instead whisper in his ear that any future trials will be just "stepping stones" to a future full of personal prosperity. Do this, for in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
