A very good friend of mine died yesterday morning. I found out about it just this afternoon. Her name was Madelene and she lived in my apartment building for 20 years. We were very good friends, very close, for 16 of those years.
She moved into assisted living late summer or early fall because of failing health. She was very good to me and we helped each other. I felt kind of lost when she moved. I have friends here but it's no he same with anyone else. I will miss her a lot. Please pray especially for her family and for for me too.
Be with Deb as she mourns for the loss of her friend. Bless her with the blessed assurance that her friend is with You now, and will never feel any suffering or pain or loss ever again. Send your angels to be with the mourning friends and family members. Let their presence be felt by all those who are sad at their loss. Dry every tear that is shed, and give peace to every distraught soul. Give words of love and joy and peace to their aching souls. For in Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
